Early Tax Return 2016

2016 Refund Schedule updated.

2016 Refund Schedule Updated

IRS have recently been accepting many taxpayers’ 2016 Tax Returns early. The IRS originally reported the start of the 2016 Tax Season would be January 19th, 2016, but many taxpayers had their tax returns accepted today January 11th, 2016.

As a result, we have updated our 2016 IRS Refund Cycle Chart for 2015 Tax Year to match these updates. This is great news for all of those early filers out there.

Have a great day!

  2. Wow, I filed on the 11th and got accepted on the 13th. Mines still say accepted. Still not approved or a refund date. I think next year I will just file at the beginning of February like I did last year, it was accepted approved all in 1 week. Filing early this year was not a good idea

  5. I am in the same boat as you. I got approved on the 13th, and it is still saying that I am accepted. Not sure what is going on. But filing early was not a good idea. I am beginning to think that I should have just filed the first week of February, like I did last year. I got approved and a refund in a week.

  7. I file my on the 20th and it was accepted on the 20th. I call the IRS to get a date they advised me that they will not give me any information on my refund until its been 21 days from the date it was filed. Base on the schedule I should get my refund by Feb. 5th direct deposit. I hope that is true.

  9. I filed on the 22nd. Still have 1 bar on the where’s my refund. Been accepted, not approved. I’ve literally never had to wait this long. It’s driving me insane.

  10. filed on the 19th, got accepted the 19th. still on one bar..no dd date as of yet 2/5/16
IRS wont give me any information but I was able to order my transcripts this morning so hopefully will hear something sooner than later.

  11. Filed on the 20th – still only 1 bar (they have received it). But now instead of 1 bar, it says “Your refund is still being processed by the IRS – a refund date will be provided when available.”

  12. Facts: Filed on 2/2/16. Accepted on 2/2/16. Normally it says my refund is approved in less than a week. Nothing is changing. Has anyone received a refund yet?

  13. I filed and got accepted on 1/28 tt said i should receive my refund between jan 29 -feb18 (which is today) whats going on

  14. If direct deposit it will be tomorrow morning. If mailed probably longer. Deposits are done Wednesday and Friday mornings.

  15. I filed on Feb 4 and it got accepted the same day today is the 15 day and still no federal refund yet.I got my state faster before my federal.the. turbo tax give me some estimated date that according to the IRS is not valid.I’m confused because the IRS says to ignore that date that turbo tax gave but when I call turbo tax they said it is an date generated by the IRS.
Also but status still says received being processed, not sure what to do.because next week on Feb 25 is the 21 days

  16. I filed January 14th got accepted a few days later and here it is Feb 19th and I don’t have a ddd still says processing

  17. Filed on 02/17 and accepted same day. Today is March 17th and still no further status other than received and refund date will be updated when available. It’s been 40 days today, what’s going on?
